As some people may be aware, I went and presented at the AOIR 7.0:Internet Convergences Conference in Brisbane this year. This was my first conference, and I must say, a great success and wonderful experience.
I presented a paper on Memetics and Online Identity, which I will post up in time as I have ben waylaid by numerous other things in life at the moment. So I do apologies for my slow updates.
I will hopefully be moving swiftly on to my PhD, which will cover the area of sexuality/sex on the Internet with a specific case study of BDSM culture.
You will probably find upcoming posts related to this topic, as well as any conference research I am doing.
In the meantime, I have located on Flickr some official photos from the conference. These were alas, not taken by me, as I am lacking a camera.

The lovely Matthew and Charles, President and Vice-President of AOIR respectively, and quite serious party people.
